These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at https://www.altusmn.com (the "Site") and your interactions with Altus Roofing, operated by Altus Construction LLC ("Altus," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, requesting an estimate or inspection, or otherwise communicating with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About Altus and our services

Altus Roofing is the Twin Cities low-slope and commercial flat roofing specialist, based in St Louis Park, Minnesota, and serving the Minneapolis and St Paul metro. We provide commercial and industrial flat roofing, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and built-up systems, along with roof replacement, roof repair, storm damage restoration, insurance-claim assistance, and residential roofing. Minnesota License #RR806786, Licensed Residential Roofer Contractor.

2. The Site is informational

The content on the Site is provided for general information about Altus and our services. It does not constitute a quote, a binding offer, a warranty, or professional, legal, or insurance advice. Service descriptions, pricing references, and timelines on the Site are general and may change without notice.

3. Inspections, estimates, and quotes

We offer free roof inspections and written estimates. Any inspection findings or estimates we provide are based on the conditions observed at the time and are not a guarantee of final scope or price. An estimate does not become a binding agreement until it is set out in a written scope signed by both you and Altus.

4. The signed contract controls

Any work Altus performs for you is governed by a separate written scope or service agreement signed by you and Altus. That signed agreement controls the scope, price, materials, schedule, warranties, and payment terms for your project. We do not collect deposits before materials are on-site, and payment is settled as set out in your signed agreement. If anything in these Terms conflicts with your signed agreement, the signed agreement controls for that project.

5. Scheduling, weather, and access

Roofing work depends on weather and site conditions, including Minnesota winters and storms. We may need to reschedule for safety or quality reasons. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, including roof access for commercial and industrial buildings, and to identify any known hazards, easements, or property-line concerns before work begins.

6. Pricing, payment, and financing

Final pricing and payment terms are set out in your signed agreement. Where financing is offered, it is provided through a third-party lender and is underwritten and approved by that lender, not by Altus, subject to the lender's own terms, rates, and privacy policy. Altus does not make credit decisions and does not guarantee approval.

7. Storm-damage and insurance-claim assistance

For storm and damage work, Altus can help you document damage and communicate with your insurance carrier when you ask us to. We are not an insurance company, a public adjuster, or your legal representative, and we do not provide legal or insurance advice. You are responsible for your own policy, your claim, and any decisions about it. We do not guarantee that any claim will be approved or that any particular amount will be paid. You agree that we will work within all applicable laws governing contractors and insurance claims.

8. Warranties

Workmanship and material warranties, if any, are described in your signed agreement and in the applicable manufacturer warranty documents, including warranties registered with GAF, Mule-Hide, or Genflex where applicable. Nothing on the Site creates a warranty. Except as expressly stated in your signed agreement or a written manufacturer warranty, Altus makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site or its content.

9. Reviews, testimonials, and submissions

Any reviews, testimonials, photos, or other content you submit to us or post about us may be used by Altus for marketing and promotional purposes. You confirm that anything you submit is truthful, is yours to share, and does not violate anyone else's rights. Do not submit anything unlawful, misleading, or infringing.

10. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, images, and design, are owned by Altus or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written permission.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, scraping or harvesting data, submitting false information or spam, or using the Site for any unlawful purpose.

12. Text messaging

By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive calls and text messages from Altus as described in our Privacy Policy. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help.

13. Third-party links and services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services, including any financing partner and social-media pages. We do not control and are not responsible for those third parties, their content, or their terms.

14. Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altus disclaims all warranties of any kind regarding the Site, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Altus and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here affects the rights and obligations set out in your signed service agreement.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Altus and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

17. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms that is not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the changes on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Altus regarding the Site. They do not replace your signed service agreement, which governs your project.
